A while ago someone had asked about free food at U of T. Well, there’s a group on facebook called “Free Food, Free stuff at U of T” and it’s awesome…there’s info about a lot of events on campus where free food is provided. And it is continually updated. Hope this helps!

must have superbowl-party info
Do you know any restaurants in Toronto (preferably downtown) that sell fried Mars bars?

the people’s potato: delicious
Hi cutie
My friend who goes to Mc Gill was telling me about The People’s Potato, a student-run free vegan food type place.
If McGill is giving out free food and U of T isn’t, I’m switching schools. I’m too poor even for ramen today.
Is there anyone on/near campus dishing it out for no cost? Tell me there is. -
avoiding the dirty burger
do restaurant owners or waitresses get pissed of when you use a coupon? i’m broke and need coupons but i don’t want the chef to jizz on my burger.

we saved your ass in WW3
Do American students generally feel wecome at U of T and is
there one college you would recommend over the others for them? I know you don’t
recommend the meal plan but which college has the best food in your humble
opinion? Thanks -
my beef stew has red wine and…secret ingredient…cocoa!
What kind of a catch phrase is this:
‘Because life is like a journey through a bowl of chunky beef stew.’
It is really repulsive, and i’ve never even been in contact with beef stew, so what the hell does it mean?? -
you mean students have to eat food to survive?
I was wondering where you can get groceries, drugstore-type stuff, and lighter reading than in a univ. library (as in magazines, fiction that is still readable when you’re pretty sick, stuff like that)around U of T. I mean, I know you can get most other stuff at the Eaton Centre, but what about the basics? (I’m starting at U of T in the fall and, obviously, living in rez)
