here he comes, the leader of the plaque

Hi! I have an URGENT question… I opted out of health and dental in spetember-ish but have received nothing and am not covered…I am just wondering if you or your people might know why this is the case. I would greatly appreciate it! Cheers!

oh more question!….how much does the greenshield dental insurance cover for wisdom tooth extraction? I was quoted by my dentist at 2000 dollars :s

here is some information you might find useful. i found it on the UTSU (i hate calling them that) site:

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: The opt-out deadline has passed.
Opt-out refund cheques will be mailed in March. If you opted out, please ensure that your address is current with ROSI in order to receive your refund.

OPTING OUT IF YOU ALREADY HAVE COVERAGE
You may opt-out of the Health portion and receive a refund of the fees charged to you, if you are covered by another comparable plan. Anyone may request a refund of the Dental portion. You must apply during the periods below. You can only apply at the beginning of the first term you are eligible for (e.g. If you start in January, you can apply in January, but if you start in September you can’t apply in January). Complete an electronic opt-out form by clicking the link at the bottom of this page or going to www.heath.ca/students (HEATH not health). The form is also available for download from our website or in our offices. You will receive a cheque in early March. If you do not receive your cheque contact the Plan Administrator at health@sac.utoronto.ca or (416) 978-4911 ext. 227. If leaving a message spell your name and give your student number.

as for your second question, this site details how much you’re entitled to based on what kind of surgery you’ll be recieving. make sure you fill out the dental claim form!

on a side note, i really need to get my teeth cleaned.

cheers, askastudent
