UofT passports are for tourists

Location: swinging from the chandeliers
could you tell me more about the “u of t passport” thingy i dont really get it and don’t feel like reading their site…all i got from it is that there is something about a blue pencil case. please tell me more..thank you 🙂 muah!

the u of t passport thingy, looks like a way for student services to introduce first years to all the stuff u of t offers. that way, instead of bothering awesome people like me with questions like “where’s the housing centre?” or “what does the career centre do?”, they can just visit the places themselves and get a dorky thing stamped to maybe win a prize. dorky but ultimately useful.

this website explains what passport is in relative detail. basically you’ll be instructed to visit 16 places to get 16 different dorky stamps. you have to do this by april 21, 2007 to receive a letter of recognition by the university (who cares?) and a chance to win the grand prize… i wonder what it could be, free condoms from the sexual education centre? or a free personality test to test your career aptitude in the automotive industry?

cheers, askastudent
