Mucho Gusto Means ‘m Welcome to You

Hello….
I was just wondering if Hart House has any dance classes ( preferably Salsa or Tango) during the Summer Semester?
???

To be quite frank, if you’re living in Toronto and want to learn how to dance, stay away from the university’s classes. The teachers, though they most likely mean well, are generally not as highly qualified and experienced as the ones in the downtown area. And I don’t mean to be rude, but it seems to me that if you’ve got a certificate Hart House or the Athletic Centre will hire you on the spot without any real “audition” of sorts. So, in short, I don’t care if Hart House offers dance classes because I would never send you there. But, you can check their website if you really want to learn on U of T property. It just irritates me that people wouldn’t want to experience the real dance culture of the third most active English speaking arts community in the whole entire world.

If you’re looking for any type of class, Dance Ontario is a great website to let you know where and when to go for anything. I was looking around and there’s the Academy of Spanish Dance where drop in beginner classes are only $12, which is a great deal, in my opinion. Then, you can take your new skills and practice at the Lula Lounge .
