\ni’m thinking of going to U of T next year (september ’09) and was just wondering what residences are good for a first year British student?? I’ve been looking at Innis and St. Mikes, and University College sounds nice but would like the real picture of what these residences are like as a student – not just the overly long descriptions that each college has written.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So which is good and which is not so good?<\/p>\n

Hey, im applying to the faculty of arts and science for architecture. i was wondering which colleges in your opinion are the best? and if any college would be more equipped for a future architectural student? im an international student, so i cant really go and check them out myself. been to their websites and honestly cant really get much out of them. essentailly, im look for a college which is fun, but also allows students to study and work easily within it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, if you want the real deal about the colleges, you’ve come to the right place!!!<\/p>\n

it’s pretty archaic, but it’s a good survey of the different colleges, which will get you ready for the real inquiry, namely, hitting the different categories on this site, and checking out the different questions, responses, and comments people have made throughout aska’s prolific history.<\/p>\n

The only thing I can add is the college system is meant to be generic and diverse. That is, there is no one college in the Faculty of Arts & Science that caters to a specific ethnic group or program. Everyone’s welcome everywhere, and that’s what makes it so fan-frickin’-tastic. As for rez, don’t forget about chestnut, which is a non-partisan residence, available to members of all colleges.
