Theres this amazing guy in my Religion class. I think he is really amazing- aesthetically. I’ve talked to him and he is really approachable, really easy to talk to. I want to go for him, problem is a friend of mine thinks he might be gay. I know it’s a stereotype that good looking guys with great personalities are homosexual. I can’t ask him because I don’t know him well enough to do so, what do I do?<\/p>\n
let’s put it this way: even if he’s batting for the boys he may be playing both sides of the field. and too be honest, i resent your insinuation that if a guy is cute (like me) and nice (like me) that he must therefore be gay. your equation sucks and doesn’t hold up under intense scrutiny.
\ndon’t ask if he’s gay. it ain’t your business. just ask him out the same as you would a heterosexual guy. just see what he’s doing on friday and go with it. quit thinking about his preference. you’ll eventually find out if he wants you to know. if he digs you, then you’ll be dining together by next week. if not, you won’t. it really is that simple my friend, especially since you’ve noted that he’s very approachable, amazing, yadda yadda blah.
\nhow well do you need to know a guy before you ask him out? if he’s friendly and charming then why not just suck it up and find out what he’s up to this weekend. study for finals together. that’s a pretty easy guise to swing. yah. try that. it’s a good way to get the ball rolling.
\nand tell your friend to shut up. what the hell does s\/he know anyway?
