Or are we essentially expected to write things up ourselves and hope for the best lol. Thanks in advance \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>hey there,<\/p>\n<p>there aren&#8217;t any services specifically geared towards writing\/editing scholarship applications, at least that i know of &#8211; which kind of makes sense, &#8217;cause scholarship applications can pretty much ask you to do anything and everything.<\/p>\n<p>scholarships are funded by all kinds of different people and institutions, so they&#8217;re allowed to ask you whatever they dream up. i&#8217;ve answered questions on scholarship forms ranging from &#8220;describe a time when you overcame a difficulty to contribute to your community&#8221; to, &#8220;send us a picture of how you would use <a href=\"https:\/\/askastudent.utoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/joeythemilkmaster2000.gif\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Our Great Product TM<\/a> in your everyday life at university.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>since more traditional scholarship applications tend to require resumes or ask similar questions that might be asked of you when applying for a job, your best bet might be to attend a workshop put on by the <a href=\"http:\/\/careers.utoronto.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">career centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>if the scholarship has an interview portion as part of the selection process and <a href=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/bda03b1b1fb034e55ad7a5671749ee4b\/tumblr_inline_mvaecvKN1K1r529ae.gif\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">you&#8217;re feeling nervous about that<\/a>, you may want to attend a mock interview, for example. if you need help specifically in writing your application, you may consider a <a href=\"http:\/\/careers.utoronto.ca\/content\/what-we-offer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">resume-writing workshop<\/a>. or you can visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/cln.utoronto.ca\/home.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CLN<\/a> for the gazillion other workshops and events the career centre offers.<\/p>\n<p>peace &amp; love,<\/p>\n<p>aska<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are there resources available at UofT where someone can find help with editing any scholarship applications?
