I’ve talked to the people in admissions and one girl involved with the Theater Department about studying acting at U of T but I’m not sure if the information was closer to fact or sales pitch. She says double majors (I like international politics because I’m a closet dork) are common with Acting. Is this so? How are the productions there? How are the performance spaces (they were closed when I toured, I’m an American resident)? But since this question has been pending for over a month and half. I guess you’ve been short-strawed. Sorry. Maybe next time you can try upgrading your suck-up techniques to something a tad more believable. That said, this should by no means deter you (or anyone else) from continuing to adore my greatness.

But there definitely is a cherry atop this unpleasant cow-pie. I took your question to the highest of authorities, someone who has been an inspiration for generations of askastudents, and is herself an expert on Drama-department related queries and awesomeness in general (how’s that for ass-kissing!). And here she goes:

Pyramid structure = YES.? And you’re more likely not to get back in if you don’t come to class, fail things, etc.? And it’s pretty hard to fail the practical stuff (i.e. not the sit down reading dramatic documents stuff).? But I think that that’s good about the program.? It means your less likely to learn with reality-TV wanna-be’s.

Performance spaces = amazing.? The program has its own building, for pete’s sake!

Double majoring = easy, everyone does it, but many people love it so much they **specialize**

—

Got it? good.

And btw, your infatuation with IR does not make you a closet-dork. That overused, hackneyed catch phrase doesn’t hold here at UofT, where geekdom is included in the incidental fees.
