Preferably @ UTM. There&#8217;s a super-incredible course in CCIT (my intended major) that&#8217;s a science, but requires a first year intro to psych course, which of course requires 12U math and biology.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>hey there,<\/p>\n<p>well, if you&#8217;re keen on that super-incredible course, you can always take 4U math and biology in summer school\/night school. (math is also available through a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.math.toronto.edu\/cms\/pump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">uoft program called PUMP<\/a>, though we don&#8217;t have any equivalent for biology, unfortunately).<\/p>\n<p>buuuut going to school in the summer sucks, so let&#8217;s consider some other options, shall we?<\/p>\n<p>there are lots of introductory science courses which favour the strengths of a humanities or social science student (i.e. no scary math or graphs to be seen). most of these courses don&#8217;t require any high school science courses, or ask that you have any previous familiarity with the course material.<\/p>\n<p>a few of these courses include:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/student.utm.utoronto.ca\/calendar\/course_detail.pl?Depart=13&amp;Course=ERS103H5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ERS103H5<\/a>: Geology and Public Issues (gain the skill to confidently sprinkle the term &#8220;anthropocene&#8221; into regular conversation)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/student.utm.utoronto.ca\/calendar\/course_detail.pl?Depart=11&amp;Course=ENV100Y5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ENV100Y5<\/a>: The Environment (learn how 2 have opinions about climate change)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/student.utm.utoronto.ca\/calendar\/course_detail.pl?Depart=3&amp;Course=BIO201H5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BIO201H5<\/a>: The Biology Behind the News (learn to read and understand parts of the newspaper other than the comics and crossword sections. next &#8211; a course on understanding the Financial Times)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/student.utm.utoronto.ca\/calendar\/course_detail.pl?Depart=30&amp;Course=PHY100H5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PHY100H5<\/a>: What&#8217;s Physics Got to do with It?
