What happens, you submit an online application to the universities of choice sometime before mid-January and the school takes care of sending grades to OUAC which sends them to the universities? Students in Ontario don&#8217;t need to self-report their grades or worry about submitting grades on deadline right? If you could that up that&#8217;d be great, I&#8217;ve looked around on uoft.ca and a few other sites and I&#8217;m sort of confused about it all.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lastly, in grade 12 I&#8217;m thinking of taking just 6 courses (five being 4U level and the last being 4M) and taking two spares so I have more time to concentrate on the core courses and less of a course load. Would this effect my application negatively at all, only taking a total of 6 grade 12 courses?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sorry for rambling on, thanks in advance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Somehow, I seem to have missed your email amidst the heaps of admission questions i&#8217;m receiving lately. Don&#8217;t take it personally, k?<\/p>\n<p>So here goes- yeah, the university looks at your grade 11 final marks, grade 12 mid-terms and whatever grade 12 final marks are there. If all that&#8217;s good, you&#8217;ll be sent a conditional offer, which means you&#8217;re basically in, but that could change with your final marks. So don&#8217;t screw it up!<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, students in Ontario don&#8217;t have to worry about manually sending in their grades. In fact, on the OUAC website there supposedly is a button that says &#8220;please have my high school send uoft my grades&#8221; or something of that fashion.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing that&#8217;s risky in you taking only 6 M\/U courses is that if you fail one of them, there isn&#8217;t any backup for you. The university looks at <strong>the best <\/strong>grade 12 M\/U courses.
