Do you have an idea of when I should expect to hear whether I&#8217;ve been accepted or not?<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>hey there,<\/p>\n<p>accepted into the lecture, you mean? assuming you&#8217;re waiting because you&#8217;re on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsci.utoronto.ca\/current\/course\/timetable\/1516_fw\/waiting-lists\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wait list<\/a> (as opposed to having applied for the course directly to the department) you&#8217;ll just have to keep checking back on <a href=\"http:\/\/acorn.utoronto.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ACORN<\/a>; if you get in off the wait list, the course will move from the &#8216;Waitlisted&#8217; header to the &#8216;Currently Enrolled&#8217; header.<\/p>\n<p>you&#8217;ll only get in if enough people ahead of you drop out, so there&#8217;s no way of telling when that might happen. you just have to keep checking and pray to <a href=\"https:\/\/s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com\/originals\/69\/fe\/f8\/69fef863d50ff030a1b69f6e0292b05d.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">your gods of choice<\/a> that you get in.<\/p>\n<p>if it&#8217;s not a wait list you&#8217;re talking about, and you&#8217;ve applied directly to the department to get into a class, then you should <a href=\"http:\/\/www.utoronto.ca\/programs\/departments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contact them<\/a> to ask about the status of the course.<\/p>\n<p>cheers,<\/p>\n<p>aska<\/p>\n<p>P.S. this a follow-up question to a previous post which can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/askastudent.utoronto.ca\/?p=15586\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Me again, the one waiting to be accepted with a tutorial conflict.
