What are the significant differences?<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_body\">\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>hey,<\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;m going to present you with all the relevant information so that you can make your own informed opinion about the two programs. since i&#8217;m not in commerce, i don&#8217;t actually have my own opinion, and even if i did think one was better, i can&#8217;t actually tell you because i&#8217;d have some very angry people dressed in suits knocking on my door.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/3o85xsbtdjaOK6zJ5e\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"Suits hell tv reaction usa\" width=\"236\" height=\"236\" \/><\/p>\n<p>that being said, i&#8217;m going to lowkey paraphrase an aska post from 2 years ago because they gave great info. don&#8217;t worry, this is not me throwing subtle shade at you for not looking through old posts.\u00a0it took some digging to find!<\/p>\n<p>the main difference between UTM\u00a0commerce and Rotman commerce are in the requirements needed. Rotman&#8217;s requirements can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/futurestudents\/apply\/high-school-applicants\/\">here<\/a>\u00a0and UTM\u00a0requirements can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utm.utoronto.ca\/management\/undergraduate\/commerce-bcom-hba-hbsc\/commerce-first-year-admission\">here<\/a>. if you are thinking of applying after first year, you&#8217;ll see a difference in the <a href=\"http:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/futurestudents\/apply\/uoft-arts-science-students-not-br-in-first-year-commerce\/\">minimum grade requirements<\/a>. you can take a look at both of them and see which one seems better suited for you.<\/p>\n<p>do keep in mind that if you are accepted to Rotman, <a href=\"http:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/currentstudents\/academic-information\/taking-rsm-courses-outside-uoft\/\">you will not be able to take any RSM classes at\u00a0UTM or at UTSC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>the main takeaway of this post is: Rotman has a reputation that can&#8217;t be ignored; it is no doubt one of the best undergraduate business programs in canada. that being said, UTM is definitely part of this reputation, considering the fact that it is a branch of\u00a0one of the best universities in canada. at any rate, whichever one you choose, you&#8217;ll get an excellent education, just because it&#8217;s still at U of T.<\/p>\n<p>i would highly recommend that you try to reach out to both <em>schools<\/em> for more information. a cool thing about Rotman is that they have\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/futurestudents\/connect\/\">student ambassadors<\/a> who would be happy to connect with you and tell you more!\u00a0for UTM, i would recommend that you\u00a0direct your general inquiries to the department of management, which you can find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utm.utoronto.ca\/management\/about-us\/general-inquiries\">here<\/a>. you might also find it worthwhile to check out both campuses to see which one you like more! <a href=\"http:\/\/www.future.utoronto.ca\/visit\/campus-tours\">U of T campus tours<\/a>\u00a0are a great place to start.<\/p>\n<p>i wish you all the best in your commercial endeavours!<\/p>\n<p>cheers,<\/p>\n<p>aska<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is Utm commerce inferior to Rotman commerce?
