Really appreciate the help!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>hey there,<\/p>\n<p>so the good news is, it&#8217;s definitely possible to do that, and you might be able to get some transfer credits too, especially for <a href=\"https:\/\/undergrad.engineering.utoronto.ca\/academics-registration\/electives\/\">electives<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tenor-gif-embed\" data-postid=\"5336221\" data-share-method=\"host\" data-aspect-ratio=\"1.22\" data-width=\"40%\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tenor.com\/view\/sheldon-bigbangtheory-maybe-gif-5336221\">Sheldon Bigbangtheory GIF<\/a>from <a href=\"https:\/\/tenor.com\/search\/sheldon-gifs\">Sheldon GIFs<\/a><\/div>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\" async src=\"https:\/\/tenor.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>the kinda bad news is that since you&#8217;re not in engineering already, you&#8217;d have to transfer into first year engineering (<a href=\"https:\/\/discover.engineering.utoronto.ca\/how-to-apply\/transfer-applicants\/\">more info here<\/a>), so unless you&#8217;re really keen, it&#8217;d be really hard to graduate in four years total.<\/p>\n<p>in terms of the process, since you&#8217;re already a uoft student, you&#8217;d have to apply for an<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ouac.on.ca\/apply\/uoftugrad\/internal\/en_CA\/user\/login\"> internal transfer on this portal.<\/a> it looks like your application is based on your transcript and a supplemental application for things like extracurriculars, and apparently you need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a mid-B average (<a href=\"https:\/\/sidneysmithcommons.artsci.utoronto.ca\/what-do-my-grades-mean\/\">around 3.0+ gpa<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/discover.engineering.utoronto.ca\/how-to-apply\/101-applicants\/\">high school prereqs<\/a> for engineering (or university equivalents)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>unfortunately i don&#8217;t have personal experience with transfering, but engineering is a pretty competitive program and transfers can be especially hard to get. if you really want to get into the nitty gritty, a bit of snooping around led me to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engineering.utoronto.ca\/files\/2021\/09\/AR-2021-INTERNAL-REPORT_FINAL.pdf\">this report<\/a> where you can see the number of applicants and offers for uoft engineering undergrad each year (pg 8-9 of the pdf) and it does not look pretty. if you&#8217;ve got the prereqs, a good gpa and extracurriculars, it&#8217;s definitely worth a shot, but you could also look into alternatives like eng programs at other unis to get some more options.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tenor-gif-embed\" data-postid=\"16879556\" data-share-method=\"host\" data-aspect-ratio=\"1.97531\" data-width=\"40%\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tenor.com\/view\/good-luck-cheers-happy-hour-sgn-somegoodnews-gif-16879556\">Good Luck Cheers GIF<\/a>from <a href=\"https:\/\/tenor.com\/search\/good+luck-gifs\">Good Luck GIFs<\/a><\/div>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\" async src=\"https:\/\/tenor.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>good luck!<\/p>\n<p>aska<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m a utsc student in my 2nd year (social science), i wanna transfer to engineering at St. George, how hard would that be?
