im trying to plan out my courses for this year. and it seems that i have an unavoidable course conflict with lectures. what options do i have?

\nthat will depend on who you ask. if you ask me, as i am irresponsible and poorly organized, i would take both classes simultaneously, and bail on attending one of them, or alternate weeks, or maybe not go to class at all.
\nprobably not the best option for you, so you should make an appointment with your guidance counselor. there may be other times for the class, or you might be encouraged to select a non conflicting course. i feel most comfortable leaving this one to the professionals.
