I need to know that i can come back from this, i&#8217;m a student at utsc. I have severe anxiety from talking to the registrar, about my embarrassing situation, I don&#8217;t even know why im typing this i just want to get my academic life back on track I feel like this is the end.<br \/>\nif this has happened to anyone please just tell me if i can do this.<br \/>\nthankfully,verysadperson<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>Dear a verysadperson-turned happy (hopefully)<\/p>\n<p>First of all you shouldn&#8217;t be embarrassed to talk about your situation. Your brave for realizing your addiction and getting help for it.<br \/>\nAnnnd people get suspended all the time.<br \/>\nHere&#8217;s what I found on your situation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/webapps.utsc.utoronto.ca\/aaccweb\/index.php\/academicplanning\/academic-standing\/163-suspension\" target=\"_blank\">Suspension<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As it sounds that this is your first suspension, so this is what applies to you:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Students who have incurred no previous suspension will be suspended for four months (one session)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Meaning, I would take those 4 months and continue to get help with your addiction. This is probably a really difficult time for you, so take these 4 months to recoup and not worry about school.<\/p>\n<p>When you return to U of T after your suspension you will be placed on probation. Read<a href=\"http:\/\/webapps.utsc.utoronto.ca\/aaccweb\/index.php\/academicplanning\/academic-standing\/161\" target=\"_blank\"> this information<\/a> on being on probation. Pretty much it says that you need to have a CGPA of 1.60 in the year returning.<\/p>\n<p>It actually looks likes your life is looking up. You have four months to focus on your recovery and can come back to U of T ready to go.
