{"id":29580,"date":"2026-08-16T20:12:42","date_gmt":"2026-08-17T00:12:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/askastudent.utoronto.ca\/?p=29580"},"modified":"2026-08-16T20:12:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T00:12:42","slug":"a-tale-of-two-disclaimers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/askastudent.utoronto.ca\/?p=29580","title":{"rendered":"a tale of two disclaimers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">hey\u00a0aska,<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">incoming first year here. in high school,\u00a0i\u00a0took two dual credit courses (you get high school credit as well as university credit for taking them) at an accredited\u00a0canadian\u00a0university\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">both were 200 level courses that were\u00a0pretty surface\u00a0level so\u00a0i\u00a0did end up doing well in them.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">i\u2019m\u00a0hoping to get the credits transferred onto my\u00a0uoft\u00a0record because that would be two less classes\u00a0i\u00a0have to take.\u00a0i\u2019m\u00a0not looking for these courses to count towards my degree or my\u00a0gpa\u00a0or anything\u00a0i\u00a0literally just\u00a0want the credit.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the transfer credit tool was no help, and neither was reddit because\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0mostly concerned with degree requirements and prerequisite\u00a0courses and stuff.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">so\u00a0basically\u00a0what\u00a0i\u2019m\u00a0asking is. as far as you know, would\u00a0i\u00a0be able to get the credits transferred?
