Hey Aska,<\/p>\n

I worked hard this term. Unfortunately, I can’t get gpa 1.6 because these courses in first year engineering are too difficult. I am thinking about withdraw from the program and re-apply for Arts and Science, or other universities.<\/p>\n

I have a question. Is there anyways to ask U of T not to send my first year grade to other universities? I want to re-apply by using my high school transcript.<\/p>\n

Hey Angel,<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, universities are always going to want to see your full academic record — this means that they’ll be getting your crummy first year grades<\/a> BUT they’ll get your high school ones as well. So if you do choose to do some transfers to other universities, you can always add some sort of letter explaining<\/a> why you didn’t do so well in your first year. But don’t stress too much. Schools are usually understanding about that one awkward year.<\/p>\n

But if you’re interested in coming over to the Faculty of Arts and Science, make sure you do so by April 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n
