If you&#8217;re like me, you may even be lucky enough to have a google search box thingie on your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/toolbar\/ie\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">toolbar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2: Type in basic words for your search. If I want to see the summer timetable for example, well golly jee, why don&#8217;t I type in &#8220;summer timetable artsci&#8221;? But since I&#8217;m trying to find when to request November convocation, let&#8217;s try something like &#8220;uoft request graduation november 2013&#8221;!<\/p>\n<p>Step 3: Look at the results. Don&#8217;t bother going to page two. Whatever you need should be on the first page!<\/p>\n<p>Step 4: Notice that the link you need is there. Click it. Well, hellooooo <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca\/ofr\/calendar\/Sessional_Dates.html\" target=\"_blank\">sessional dates<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Step 5: <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Facepalm\" target=\"_blank\">Face-<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/images1.wikia.nocookie.net\/__cb20120922153752\/adventuretimewithfinnandjake\/images\/thumb\/9\/9f\/Facepalm_facepalm.png\/800px-Facepalm_facepalm.png\" target=\"_blank\">palm<\/a> because after four years at UofT, it occurs to you that you should know that any important dates are usually on one of the sessional dates page.<\/p>\n<p>Step 6: Either read through the content or do the lazy thing and <a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_0UK2c7vc80s\/TJFLYoOFqlI\/AAAAAAAAAKQ\/pRQ7ZRv7370\/s1600\/ctrl-f.png\" target=\"_blank\">do a ctrl+f<\/a> to search for &#8220;request&#8221; or &#8220;graduation.&#8221; Don&#8217;t be alarmed if the latter fails because it could just be &#8220;convocation.&#8221; Likewise, if you do &#8220;request,&#8221; there may be multiple things to request so do remember to hit the next key.<\/p>\n<p>Step 7: Find your answer and question why this took seven steps.<\/p>\n<p>And there you have your date.
