askastudent!!! i have a question 4 u. i called my registrar at UC and i wanted to know if i could make an appointment with a registrar to help me pick courses for first year. i am in vic one and i need help! but… i was told to come to the info sessions for first years in july… can’t i book an appointment with a registrar or are the days of nagging my guidance councilor long gone \ud83d\ude41 mind i add i was on hold for 15 minutes! what are my options???

\nyou should be able to book an appointment with your college registrar, regardless of whether you’re an incoming student or not.
\nso i called up UC, this is what they told me. (i feel like this could be the beginning of my fresh prince of bell air style rap…if i had one.) you can book an individual appointment with an academic counsellor either by emailing the office at uc.regoffice@utoronto.ca, or by dropping by\/calling their office at (416) 978 3170. UC is a big college however, so they often can’t give as much personal attention to their students that (ahem) an awesome registrar like innis can.
\naska’s tips? don’t be afraid to bug the hell out of UC as long as it gets you the answers you need to choose your classes. they are (supposedly) there to help you. so make them! (by sending them nice “remember me? ” emails, not with violence or scary threats or anything.)
