\ntheory (on steel pan, but pursuing clarinet), but lacks experience playing with
\na clarinet and in an ensemble, hungry to play in an ensemble???

it is true. you really are in a mess. nowhere to play clarinet and the girl you hooked up with at band camp broke your heart. this really isn’t your summer is it?<\/p>\n
luckily at U of T, there are plenty of places to toot your flute extra-curricularly. hart house is a good place to start (since they basically encompass every hobby, including guns). there’s the hart house orchestra<\/a>, which boasts a “fairly minimal” audition process to get in. if jazz is more your style, there’s a jazz ensemble<\/a> too.<\/p>\n alternatedly, the bigger colleges probably have their own music groups as well. check with the UC Lit <\/a>(their student council) about their music groups. this is a former list of Vic Clubs<\/a> with contact information.
