I was just wondering if you can claim a specialist, major and minor? Also, what is the rule about overlapping courses for the specialist and major, as in, what percentage of courses must be different?<\/p>\n

You can certainly claim a specialist, a major, and a minor — that is, of course, assuming you have a taste for masochism<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That being said, the rule is no different from when you have a double major going on or a major and two minors. For the entirety of your degree, you need to have 12.0 distinct credits<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Or if we have to work in percentages, 40% may overlap.<\/p>\n
