So my CGPA sucks, no joke cause I screwed up first year. But my annual GPA for
\nthe last few years have rocked. I’m graduating next year and I’m wondering if
\nthere are any recognitions for high GPA’s (ex. 3.5+) in the final year? I know
\nyou get that “high distinction” for CGPA, but what about if you did really well
\nin your last year when you graduate? Don’t I get something???<\/p>\n

unfortunately, UofT doesn’t have ‘most improved’ awards like they did in grade eight. an attendance awards would be nice too, though no humanities student would probably ever get one. as for your recently high GPA, congratulations: you got the marks when it really counted, and now you stand a much better chance at getting into grad programs and the like…what you do not qualify for though is high distinction, which isn’t going to make a lick of difference in a job interview anyways.<\/p>\n

why is it that you only get extra stuff on your degree if you do well academically? aska thinks that students should get recognition on their diplomas if they<\/p>\n
