hi! i was just accepted and have already know that i want a pol sci specialist from uoft. so, caz i’m not really that interested in that many 1st year courses, i was wondering if i can take pol sci 200 1st year. there’s no prerequ. and a prof that i talked to during that open house in march break said that it’s o.k. and i can do it. of coures, i will ask my counciller or whatever, but i was just wondering if students taking 2nd year courses in 1st year was common. thanks! <\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n

yeah, you can take it, but make sure you know the requirements<\/a> for a polisci specialist. you need a first year polisci, and certain other courses, which are listed here way at the bottom of this enormously long page. also, you must fullfill your distribution requirements (taking at least one full credit of humanities, social science, and science). this is usually done with first years courses like AST100 and GEO100. <\/font><\/p>\n
