Hi Askastudent,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I am a life science student that is looking for an easy half courses that falls under the
\ncategory of humanities? I am looking for something that is either a 100 or 200 and want
\nto avoid writing as much as possible (it may be inevitable). Currently, I am looking at
\nLIN 203H1 (English Words) and CLA 201H1 (Scientific Terms in Latin and Greek). What is
\nyour opinion on these courses and can you suggest anything else? <\/strong><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is what I?ve heard about both courses:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

LIN 203H1 is a trick. <\/span>It?s a lot of work and people hated it. <\/span>Linguistics is really brutal and time consuming and full of memory work. <\/span>Also, there?s no trace of it in the Anti-Calendar. <\/span>I would avoid this one like the plague.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

CLA 201H1 is a big hit with life science students, like you! <\/span>A friend of a friend found this one easy and really helpful because he could bring it back to his major field of study. <\/span>Also, you?ll be able to break down words into their Latin roots. <\/span>Which is cool. <\/span>?in my opinion, anyway.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
