I am wondering&#8230;&#8230;.I don&#8217;t have any OAC sciences because the teachers at my school were retarded. So, I ended up applying for humanities and social sciences at U of T and was accepted. Now I want to do sciences. How can one switch from humanities to life sciences after one&#8217;s first year? (because i don&#8217;t expect to be able to change anything in my first year) I did take calculus and all of that delicious math in highschool-but no sciences.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know what to do-I was planning to take BIO150 in my first year anyway (and consult the zoology undergrad department, as they said&#8230;.although I emailed them weeks ago and got no reply-do i actually have to go see them!? i don&#8217;t get it) but how do i switch? and what would my second year end up being like? oh bother I am confused<br \/>\n(BTW I GOT INTO INNIS RES WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!)<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"-1\" face=\"Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">first,i highly doubt that your teachers were &#8220;retarded&#8221; or that people with learning disabilities appreciate being compared to your teachers either. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"-1\" face=\"Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">second, if you want to know specifically about zoology, go to the source and call them (remember back that there was a phone before there was a modem?): <strike>ms. n. dominique<\/strike> is the undergrad officer and she can be reached at this number: 416-978-3477<\/font><font size=\"-1\" face=\"Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\"><br \/>\nhowever, usually, when they say a PRE-requisite they generally mean that you have to had taken the required course PRE-enrollment in the class that you really want, ie BEFORE you enroll in the university. in other words, take it in summer school if you want in but don&#8217;t take my word for it: call the dept and see what they can do for you. besides, if you&#8217;re smart enough to have gotten into the innis rez, then, by default, you should be smart enough to figure this out.<br \/>\ncheers,<br \/>\naskastudent<\/font><\/p>\n<p><!-- #EndEditable --><!-- #EndTemplate --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi!
