So I accidentally missed an exam because I remembered the exam date wrong. My professor told me to visit my registrar’s office to see what options I have available to me, but I checked the UofT website and remembering the wrong date is not an accepted reason, and I understand that. What I want to ask is: “Do I have any options?” If not, then there’s no point in visiting the registrar’s office at all.
“Yes you do!”
It is possible to petition if you made a mistake reading the exam timetable or something of that sort. So go to your registrar’s office ASAP and they’ll help you pull it off. Be dramatic. No, just kidding, they’ll help you anyway. Don’t forget that the university closes today(!) and reopens Jan 5th. The last date to file a petition for this exam period is Jan 9th. Good luck.
