Hi, I was wondering other than the adminissions department and the registrar department, do all UofT staff have access to students personal file such as what courses, which college, and grades?
Thanks
Di

yo yo Di,
I don’t think they hand out that information to the janitorial staff … well unless its a Matt Damon wiz kid.
Administers have access to various information. I.e admission to grades and the registrar office to most information. Other staff such as your Professors don’t really get snooping privileges. Although I don’t think colleges are a secret. From what I’ve seen professor’s student lists have the colleges listed beside their names.
I’m curious to what kind of scheme you have going on … oh and I just got over.
Love Always,

Actually, I was applying to NSERC once and one of the professors who saw my application (which didn’t have my marks on it) was able to fetch my marks all on his own without asking me first.

In terms of say, assistants to the deans as well student organizations, who exactly has access to personal student information? In particular, who exactly has access to grades.
Also what about the general staff that work at Academic Advising & Career Centre at UTSC. Who can/cannot access student grades and other personal student information.
Thank-you for answering my questions!
