what department generally has the smallest classes?

sorry to break the bad news, but if you’re enrolling in first year studies at UofT your probably going to need binoculars for at least a few classes, despite which department you’re in. you should check out one of the first year seminars which are designed to have relatively small class sizes. these seminars are only available to first year students, are interesting, and you should be able to get an easy grade-from what i hear.
