My name is Angela. I am a second year student. I want to major in Biology for Health Sciences (they accepted me) and Forensics. It says on this website http://registrar.utm.utoronto.ca/regcal/WEBGROUP10.html that I need a GPA of at least 2.7 to get in forensics and at least 65% on first year chemistry. My GPA is 2.62 (0.08 less than the minimum) and my chemistry mark is 1.5% less than the minimum. It still says requested. Is there any chance I would get accepted?

Hey Angela,
I just had an array of hope levels for you. There is still hope because your status is saying “requested”. It will change to either “Invited” or “Refused”.
The thing that is concerning me is this little note in the course calendar “Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission into the program.”
This generally means that the program is highly competitive.
You could always just give the department a shout, there is usually someone eagerly waiting beside the phone hoping for your phone call!
