UofT students take it easy

Hi
could you please let me know which are the easiest electives in any field any course that one can take. I’m nearly done with my program requirements and have a bunch of credits to spare.
P.S. I’ve learned my lesson to not take courses that are ‘interesting’. If you could reply soon that would be great!!!
thanks:)

we here at askastudent HQ receive this question almost every week. do the student’s at Canada’s largest university hate challenges? is it more about GPA than academic gratification? oh well…
you are totally right about the “interesting classes”? unfortunately, the more complicated the title of the course is directly proportional to the hit your grad school application is going to take.
regardless, here are some guidelines to follow for easy electives:
* take a first year seminar (you can only do this if you are in first year though) – they hand out A’s like candy outta of a pinata
* cultural anthropology classes are usually okay – especially with Prof. Danesi
* art history classes are not – with the exception of Prof. Legge
* check the anti-calendar, look at what it says, stay true to that – they are not usually wrong
* astronomy and botany – these intro. classes aren’t a half way bad to get that science credit
* take DRM100! – if only for the jokes under your breath you’ll make about your ridiculous classmates
* lastly – ask your friends, audit a course, talk to your registrar’s office

and for the last time – don’t take HPS 210/211. it’s not worth it.
cheers, askastudent

I just took FAH248 and I am expecting an A- .The class is easy but make sure for the essay and the final pick artists that are important.
