Hey aska,
Whats the deal with midterms? Are there any scheduled during reading week, or do the usually begin the day classes resume from reading week?
How far in advance will we know about them?
yo, it’s the middle of summer. pretty much the last thing askastudent wants to think about (other than math and buying sponges to take home for my roommates after work because they have asked me repeatedly for these sponges and i keep forgetting and do i even have enough change to buy sponges and where does one find sponges in the annex other than wiener’s home hardware and sometimes they have finicky hours – gasp) is midterms. midterms are usually in like october/november (essentially the middle of half year classes), december for full year classes and the week before/after reading week for spring classes. nothing is ever during reading week, because you’re supposed to be studying and catching up on work during your week off. (personally, i was eating cupcakes.) whatever midterms you have will be listed on your sylabbus that you’ll obtain during your first week of classes. you’ll know ahead of time, believe me. nobody wants to prepare for a classics midterm without fair warning.
cheers, askastudent
