ROSI,  tutorials

classes are just like big tutorials

Okay so I am still wondering about tutorials. They only tutorial I’ve registered in is the one for my physics course because time slots for it were displayed on ROSI when I registered. I have a couple other courses that the calender says have tutorials, but how do I register into a time slot for these? I’ve seen nothing in the Handbook or online that gives any info on tutorials.

the deal with tutorials is this: tutorials are smaller sections of a course, that are designed for students to go over material with a T.A. if you have questions about beowolf, you can ask them here. if you want to rant on about the lack of cohesion in keurockian prose and have your classmates punch you in the face, do it here. if you want the assignments further explained in detail, do it here.
you add tutorial sections the same way you added your lectures on rosi. basically once you are able to register for a lecture on ROSI (refer to this post on how to do that), the option should come up to add tutorial sections (if there are tutorial sections). all the times they are offered should pop up on the next page. simply select whatever one you’re interested in and you’ll be registered like magic. and if you have problems, as always, registrar’s office it up!
cheers, askastudent
