crooked lies at the library

is it possible to negotiate a fine with Robarts? i had a $68.00 fine a few months ago and i paid it in full, but could i have bartered? i mean those bastards make enough money as it is….

i really hoped that there was some kind of underground bartering system that one could strike up with the crooked (you say bastard-like) librarians at robart’s library. unfortunately…it’s not the case.

while the woman on the phone responded to me like i had just undergone head surgery, she did put me in contact with the fines and renewals department at (416) 978 5350. in special cases only (apparently not wanting to pay library fees is not enough), you may be able to plead with these peeps, but you are playing a dangerous game.

be careful. they could hide you in the stacks and no one would find your body for weeks.

cheers, askastudent

Library fines are NOT a revenue source but are designed to ‘encourage’ library users to return books so that other people can use them.
