If I am accepted into the physical and health education program, do I have to take sport activities in addition to other courses?
i think that’s generally how it works. now i don’t think they expect you to be on any kind of varsity team per se but there is certain prerequisites for the courses, and many of them of course involve spending time in physical activities. a whack of your courses will be based solely on doing physical type stuff and other will focus more on a kind of science involved in athletics, as well as modern issues confronting sports as a whole (economic, political, etc.)
most of the people that i know in P.E. are involved in other sports activities around campus, but i think that it’s generally because they’re active, not because they were forced into the position.
