Do you know any courses, aside from the language courses, that focuses on things related to Vietnam?
There ain’t a whole lot, I’ll tell you that much.
What I did find is HIS315H1- Narratives of “Viet Nam”.
Another possibility is HIS283Y- Southeast Asian Crossroads, which doesn’t deal specifically with Vietnam but probably touches upon relevant issues.
HIS479H1- American Foreign Policy Since WWII, deals with the Vietnam war, and in general seems like the kind of course that will turn you into a left wing extremist, if you’re into that.
Along those lines, you have HIS473Y- The U.S and Asia in the Cold War Era.
Um… I don’t know what else. If you’re super-super interested, you may want to ask for an independent studies course at the History/EAS department. Maybe there’s some Vietnam specialist out there that’s just dying to have an eager undergrad to convey his wisdom to. Anyway, good luck
