ive been accepted to u of T but i dont want to go to st. michaels college. is there anyway i can change the college?
Well, technically yes. You can try applying to another college by contacting them (through the registrar’s office) and request to switch. They’ll probably request some sort of formal letter. Note, though, that usually you’re going to have to come up with some good reason/s for the request. Plus, not all the colleges accept these requests. And, hey, why do you want to switch anyway? What’s wrong with St. Mike’s? (note: this is not an invitation for college-bashing… but feel free to do so)

switchy switch switch
ahahaha. i love how everyone wants to move out of lovely ol’ st. mickey’s. for me it was because it just wasn’t perty enough a college + a rumor that they were the most impoverished college. and that’s all it took! but guaranteed: everyone will assume it’s because you can’t stand catholics (just look at the title of this entry!) or something ridiculously offensive to your nice, clean, liberal, accepting, diversity-embracing soul so be prepared to clarify that it was because you couldn’t cope with the lack of light in alumni hall. or the lack of notable alumni from st. mike’s in that case.
if you don’t get the transfer, just be glad you didn’t end up at new college (shudders). have you seen the buildings? yeesh! i’d rather have robarts as my college!

I was registered at New College. In my entire 4 years I think steped foot once in the college. When you graduate, your degree says “University of Toronto”. Chill out. What college you’re registered at makes no difference

I’ll be attending St. Michael’s College, but I’m also incredibly smart. So ask yourself: Are you very intelligent? I’ll assume the answer is an obvious no. Therefore, I’m glad you will not be attending the same college as me.
But really, I’m only going to St. Mikes because everyone from my Catholic high school is going there.
Have fun at New College!
