I’ve been looking all over for some used textbooks, and I really can’t afford the $700 for new ones at the UofT bookstore- are there any other used textbook stores in the GTA you can recommend?
did you try the UofT used book store (on colege across from the koffler)? i’m gonna guess you did. there aren’t a lot of other used stores that i could recommend. sorry bout that.
here’s something you should try. if you go to chapters or indigo or chaptersindigo.ca you might be able to find your books. they’ll probably be a bit cheaper and both places let you get a discount card for a small price ($10-20) that will save you an additional 10% off your titles. over the course of $700 you’ll save at least $70 bucks, plus the additional savings of cheaper prices on the titles. give it a whirl and let me know how it turns out. it’s worked for me in the past.
yhe other option is to follow people in your class home, and then beating them up and stealing they’re books. but keep in mind this is illegal, and a very bad diea. so why did I propose it? well?.i really just wanted to be sure that you knew all your options.
