i did a double major in economics and life sciences, or at least I started to, and I doubt if it will get me a job. do you want to do sciences? both are good degress, it just depends on what you want to do. a BCom will go a long way.
is econmics useless without accounting? not if you just want to be an economist. accounting is a usable skill in the real world. try to get as much of it as possible. try checking out the commerce site, and then contact commerce admissions or they’re general inquiry email for more info. they’re site is here.
you need to find work study opportunities around the university and then apply to them. start at your college and ask them where to find a listing of all such positons. you should also be able to find many of them online at the career centre. As for PEY, there’s a club for it. you can ask them anything your little heart desries. check them out here.
