I am trying to apply under the faculty of Commerce at U of T, and I was just wondering what the difference is between all the colleges?

the colleges are where you do your bureaucracy. where do you want to stand in line and bitch at secretaries? some are bigger than others, therefore some have more time for you than others. some have religious affiliations (does st. mike’s get money from the pope? i don’t know.), some are just a little bit . . . different (i’m not naming any names . . . ahem *trin*), some are a huge presence on campus (new college!!! wow! talk about in your face!), some are on the east side, some are on the west side . . . blah blah blah, see previous discussions

ps don’t bitch at secretaries, it’s not their fault. it’s the university’s fault. you’d be better off bitching at the president, or maybe soldier’s tower . . . depends how gutsy you are.
