Do you have any advice on to go beyond a ‘C+’ while doing
essays?? I’m a science track student doing Scientific Revolutions and just got
back an essay evaluated at 69%. I know that I can write well! What’s a gal to
do??
how do they come up with these marks, so your prof reads the paper, “mmm, i’d say that’s about a 69” ??? – you should come book an appointment with the writing center, they’ve helped me out a lot. it’s one on one, and the instructors really seem to know their shit. If you’re prof or t.a. is approachable, it never hurts to beg for a few extra marks. i’ve heard people swear the centres bring them up 5-10% every time. good luck
