well these girls like Trinity

Hi…we are two Trinity girls..first year..and we’ve been
browsing through the website, and reading all the hate mail for Trinity. We
just wanted to discuss how everyone believes Trinity is such a bad place. It’s
a very, very tight-knit college, but just a little effort and socializing will
pretty much guarantee that you’ll fit in. A lot of the kids that come here are
well off, but there’s lots of “normal” kids here who just decided that
Trinity had the best reputation and wanted to come here. There’s lots of
tradition, but it really isn’t as serious as it sounds — most of the tradition
is just more fun, college-type activities (i.e. more time to socialize) People
may label us like a “cult”, but no one can really judge us until you
come here — I’m sure there’s some people that don’t like it here, but doesn’t
that happen at all colleges? It’s a great school, lots of support, lots of
great, smart people, and so, I wish Trin didn’t have such a bad rep!
you say that the “normal” kids go to trinity because it has the “best reputation”, but you wish that trin “didn’t have such a bad rep”. so if the “well off” kids are not “normal”, then what are they?
