for those of you in love with our old retro-chic website, the honeymoon’s over. we’re sure with time, you can learn to love again because let’s face it, the old site was a dinosaur. awesome, yes. but extinct.

welcome to the new, bloggier inception of askastudent’s former predecesser. please allow me, your friendly neighbourhood askastudent, to steer you through some of our new kickass features – though the premise will always remain the same: ask and you shall recieve. (the answers to life on and off campus.)

1) subscribe with our sexy new RSS feeds…

– wanna mainline askastudent into your veins? yeah, we bet you do. subscribe on RSS and you’ll be instantly updated as soon as any new info gets posted on the site.

2) the categorical is imperative…

– never again will you have to sift through the vague (though hilariously clever) subject headings for your question on trinity college’s meal plan. every post throughout aska’s 8-year history is currently being tagged, organized and archived by date. seriously, our keyboards are still recovering.

3) take a picture, it’ll last longer

– our sidebar currently hooks up to the UofT flickr community, featuring a random assortment of great photography. additionally, you might start to see photos in all sorts of ways, ensuring that askastudent is taking the first step towards one day featuring cheeky pictures of profs. finally, you could be featured on askastudent for more than your burning yearnings for the chess club.

4) comment us, ‘yo

– while askastudent is an omnipotent creation of absolute knowledge, chances are, you’re more in the know about your subject PoST than even us. feel free to post your thoughts, advice and feelings about everything aska, available at the bottom of each post.

5) get in with the in group

– add yourself to the askastudent facebook group and be an online stalker for the coolest kids in school! how do I know they’re so cool? because they are members of my group.

6) UofT meets savage love meets vice magazine meets this american life

-answering questions has been fun, but it’s time to add some bacon and cheese to this askastudent burger, so to speak (that is one tasty burger!). this means features that cover a gamut of mediums and topics, all covering U of T. podcasts, videos, top 5’s, interviews…it’s about to get interesting.
