defer your fees then hug some trees

I have applied for OSAP and I have received some money from the government. What is the next step? I heard something about “deferrals” but I am not sure that’s about….

oh man. you first years just don’t have it together yet, do you? i guess it’s all that bad music on much music and tight emo jeans that kills brain cells or something…but when i was in first year, i was on top of shit, you know?
just playing. if you are eligible for OSAP, you have to come to/contact your college registrar’s office to defer your fees. essentially if you are receiving some kind of student loan (welcome to university folks), you won’t pay all your fees in a big lump sum installment. to defer your fees (i.e. pay your fees later when your OSAP arrives), contact your registrar’s office to fill out a deferred fees form. they’ll process it (if you’ve already applied, admissions and awards has probably put you on our list) and then you can pick up your OSAP and gladly, pay later. but you have to do this before september 1st, otherwise you’ll be removed from your classes and be decapitated by the faculty of arts and science. them’s the rules.
cheers, askastudent
