i’m a first year student and need to know if taking biology, chemistry, calculus, physics, and psychology in the same year will be too hard?
my opinion…hell yes. but, i asked around and found that this situation isn’t that uncommon. why psych? just for interest? it is a difficult course. not because the material is really hard, but just based on sheer volume of info. so if you have an easier option for that slot (say a 199Y seminar) you may want to think about taking that. but otherwise, with diligent effort you should make out fine. it’s hard work but what the hell, this is university, not kindergarten.

if the last course is a seminar, you’ll be fine. but, language classes are a total bitch, so if you don’t actually have any french background, you should be aware that doing your homework is actually necessary in doing well…
