university of bureaucracy…y’know, for bureaucrats

Hi aska… I’m in the faculty of arts and science at the st. george campus and I wanted to get one of my exams back from a half credit course I took last semester. My mark in the course sucked but I really thought I did pretty well on the exam so I’d like to see where I went wrong or if someone made a mistake marking it. I’ve heard something about petitioning the faculty..? can you fill me in on what I have to do to see the marked copy of my exam?

because U of T should really be U of Bureaucracy, there is a specific form that you need to fill out in order to first request for a viewing of already marked exam. the form (along with specific instructions) can be found here.
after you fill out this specific form, you need to bring it/fax it to the Faculty of Arts and Science Registrar, located in room 1006 of Sidney Smith. you have until June 30th, to be able to view your exam results from this past December. oh and you’ll have to make an appointment with the faculty registrar after submitting the form.
i thought i’d never say this, but i really miss that day in high school when you would go into school to get all your marks back and stuff. my mom always made me bring presents for teachers (like even when i was in Grade 12), which was not only embarrassing, but now that i think of it, totally pointless since marks were already in.
cheers, askastudent
