sometimes askastudent can be helpful. so i emailed our associate registrar, claudia li tang, and this is what she told me about anyone seeking a transfer credit assesment from our fine institution:
transfer credits are complicated but basically the student would need
to submit a transcript and course description to the Faculty and a fee
(~$30). The faculty will try to match it with what we offer and
sometimes even give the student generic course code if we don’t
actually have the exact course. This is a process that is done in
consultation with the departments.
