Hey aska
I’m in first year and I’m totally failing 3 courses; I only have 4.
Let’s say I miraculously pull off a B average by the end of the year.
Can I get into any good post?
hey there! i may have good news.
luckily there is a specific type of subject PoST called “type 1’s”. type 1 subject PoSts do not require any specific criteria and can be picked up and dropped at any time. for a list, check out this website. types of type 1’s include: english, philosophy, biology and literary studies.
as for type 2’s and 3’s, there may be more specified criteria for these programs, such as a cutoff mark in an introductory course and overall average, or an application process/audition. email the program director/program secretary for more details. however, if you manage to make the cut in specific criteria, there may be a small possibility that your overall average may not hinder you too greatly.
plus, you can always add a type 1 for course enrolment and change your PoST later when you boost those marks in future years. college students change their majors the way they change sexual partners – frequently and without emotional attachment.
cheers, askastudent!
