internal transfer

enough with the engineering

Hey Aska,

I worked hard this term. Unfortunately, I can’t get gpa 1.6 because these courses in first year engineering are too difficult. I am thinking about withdraw from the program and re-apply for Arts and Science, or other universities.

I have a question. Is there anyways to ask U of T not to send my first year grade to other universities? I want to re-apply by using my high school transcript.

Thank you for help.

Regards,
Angel Lo

Hey Angel,

Unfortunately, universities are always going to want to see your full academic record — this means that they’ll be getting your crummy first year grades BUT they’ll get your high school ones as well. So if you do choose to do some transfers to other universities, you can always add some sort of letter explaining why you didn’t do so well in your first year. But don’t stress too much. Schools are usually understanding about that one awkward year.

But if you’re interested in coming over to the Faculty of Arts and Science, make sure you do so by April 1.

Cheers!

aska
