oh start times. the wonderful mystery of life, much like how babies are born or why there are so many songs about rainbows.
for reals though, your start time is basically decided by the number of credits you have. the more credits you have within your specific year of study, the better your odds are at snagging a sweet start time. this is why many students that do summer school credits have the better start times. let’s say you’re going into third year and you have 10 credits. then you have to compete with all the students who have 10 credits too. but if you’re in second year and you have 9 credits, or third year and you have 11.5 credits – then welcome to start time heaven.
the earliest start times “start” at probably 7 AM and end at around 5 pm. they are staggered every 15 minutes or so to give ROSI a chance not to freak out…although it usually does anyways. basically if you can take an extra credit or two to bump your higher in your bracket, then it will be easier to snag a better start time…and you know, get into classes you actually want instead of “medieval art”. snoresville. start times are also divided into streams of arts, science and commerce, but this is only important in first year. seriously after that, it’s a free for all.
