Is it crazy to take 3 Roman languages and 1 East Asian language in my second
year?
the aska office has a special dial on our wall that filters our emails and indicates their levels of craziness. your question elicits such craziness that the dial just exploded off the wall, blasted right through a brick wall, and hit a car, which promptly exploded. so yeah, 4 languages seems like a lot to take. but you’re the one best qualified to make that decision. do you already speak more than 10 languages? are you able to learn a lot of information on a constant basis? are you really into the idea of being able to ask out anyone in the world, regardless of ability to speak english? if so, maybe you’ll be able to handle 4 languages in one year. even a disgusting quad tentacle goo spitting beast can be a cuddly pet for the right owner.
encore: aska’s top 4 languages to learn
-american sign language
-backwards
-french (so I can bail on uoft and work for mcgill)
-i would like to talk to the whales

Hm… generally I agree with you, but I wonder what our readers would tell.
